dark roomdeficient soundproofing
The room design felt rather dark. The small window did not allow much natural light inside. Soundproofing was deficient. I could hear music from the bar as if I were present there. This disturbed my sleep each night.

The hotel's location proved ideal (it was close to many central spots). The jazz concerts in the evenings at Cafe Laurent offered a perfect prelude to dinner. The pool provided great relief after a long day of exploring. It was long enough for swimming laps.
The room looked too rectangular for my preference. The room decor was quite dark and the window was very small.

early check-incomplimentary upgradedaily cleaning
the hotel provided an early check-in and a complimentary room upgrade. breakfast was a highlight, it gave us energy for exploring. the twice-daily room cleaning was meticulous. i also used the lovely lounge area.
dining options immediately around the hotel are limited

the location allows easy access to many important sites. notre dame is easily walkable. the louvre is also nearby and accessible, but you could consider alternate transit.

the staff welcomed us warmly and helped us check in early. i received helpful assistance throughout my visit. the concierge provided restaurant reservations.
